1978 Cleethorpes It’s A Knockout appeal for video recording
Brian Swaine contacted Cleethorpes people to ask for an appeal to see if anyone has an old video recording of the Cleethorpes It's Knockout event that was staged at the old Cleethorpes Bathing Pool back in 1978!
Brian, who now lives on the Wirral was part of the winning Cleethorpes team who took part in the games on Friday, June 6, 1978. The game was between Lincoln, Gainsborough and Cleethorpes.

Cleethorpes then went on to take part in a live BBC1 (live) European finals at the Lincoln Showground on August 23, 1978. And Brian is appealing to anyone who has an old video recording of the one or, better still, both of the events.
The Cleethorpes management team was: Dave Christie (Cleethorpes Borough Council) Sue Regan (his assistant) and Mike Davie (Team Manager).
