A BANNED list helps keep troublemakers out of pubs and clubs in Scunthorpe town centre.
Almost all of the licensed premises within the town support the scheme.

35 troublemakers are banned from having a drink in any local pubs
The licensees all meet to discuss potential banning orders for troublemakers, before a vote is taken on whether to issue a ban.
There are currently 35 people on the list – a figure officers hope will fall.

Inspector Jayne Broughton said: "A list of all the people who are banned and when they are banned until is displayed at all the premises on the doors.
"We are looking to reduce that list to focus on the minority who are causing the problems.
"We have 35 on the list, but are looking at about 20 to make it more manageable, as it is difficult for the door staff as they do not know everyone.
"Owners of the licensed premises come and work together and look at the problem individuals and target people that have committed violent crime and been aggressive towards others.
"If they are on the banned list, then they will be refused entry to the premises that are signed up to the pub watch scheme. The banned list is for three, six, 12 or 24 months."
