THE WI held their annual meeting when reports on the year's activities were presented by the secretary, the treasurer, and members of the committee. 

Trophies and garden tokens were presented to the overall winners for the year of the Competition and the Flower of the Month.

The silver cup for the competition was presented to Brenda Wringe and runners up were Pam Subden and Edith Jones.

The Ruby Finch rosebowl  for Flower of the Month went to Val Gothard and runners up were Pam Subden and Pauline Wood.

Jennifer Smith gave an account of her trip to the Festival of Light at Leicester and Brenda Wringe presented some brainteaser games.

To finish the evening the retiring President, Stephanie Smith,  was presented with a book by her successor, Edith Jones, as a thank you from all the members for her years in office.
