This is Grimsby

MY uncle Eddie, from Cdn RCAF, stayed with the Ogdens, who opened up thier home to Commonwealth servicemen during WW2.

Mr Ogden was a Colonel in the RAF. The Ogden son was a doctor with the army, and they also had a daughter.

Prior to war, they ran a private school in their backyard. I have no first names, and only know my uncle referred to the house as Little Meggs.

He served with Sqn 550.

Would anyone there have a clue as to whom I am referring?

My internet searching so far has turned up nothing.

I am coming to England in late July and am trying to learn as much as possible prior to arrival.

Thanks Susan
