There were delays for motorists travelling towards North East Lincolnshire from the north bank of the Humber this morning after the southbound carriageway was partially closed following a six-vehicle crash.

The road has now re-opened.

The Highways Agency was urging drivers to take extra care following the weekend snow.

Temperatures were expected to inch up to 3C, with a possibility of more light showers.

Further icy conditions are expected tonight when temperatures could drop to -1C.
