Karen, who has fallen victim to bogus traders in the past, said it's important to know who you can trust.

"It's horrible that bogus traders do it to people," she said.

"It's very important, especially to vulnerable people to know who they can trust so they don't get ripped off."

The Grimsby Telegraph Trusted Traders scheme has been very successful for Karen.

She said: "We have had quite a few people asking about it."
