BLUESTONE Aces are beginning to dominate the Premier Division of the Grimsby Cleethorpes & District Pool League.

After playing a catch-up game against Cue World at home and beating them 9-3, Pete Dinsdale getting two eight ballers.

In their next game, they were at Cue World playing Cashgen Legends. They tore into a six-frame lead without reply and, after sharing the second section, they got another 9-3 win.

Cue World played host to Inspiration-Fireplaces. Kev Cowdroy opened the scoring with an eight-ball finish, helping the home side go into the interval 4-2 ahead. But the "visitors" riddled the embers, pulling back for a 6-6 draw.

Lucarly's BC look to have the game in the bag at Imperial Mints, going into the break 4-2 up then taking the first frame of the second half – but the Mints had other ideas, taking the rest for a 7-5 win.

Hainton All Stars entertained The Valiant and had the points in the bag by the ninth frame, 7-2 up. Steve Hawkins played a valiant game getting his second for the visitors, before the home side took the last two got themselves a 9-3 win.

Birds Eye Trixters went to play The County, whose Neil Caborn opened the match with an eight-ball clearance, inspiring his team to get the better of the first section before sharing the second in a 7-5 victory.

The Seas travelled to play a much-improved Jack O Clubs A and came away with a 7-5 win.
