“Not known amongst those I have asked. I haven't bumped into all yet. There was a white Akita walked in Sydney park, I haven't seen that for a while.”

“Hope it's owner is found, someone must be missing it. Fingers crossed it will be the one reported to Black Sheep Vets, could be the right area. Anyone who has a chipped dog can update the details online, now, with 'Petlog'. I had to pay to upgrade the account to do it, but afterwards you can change contact details as many times as you want for free(can't remember whether it was £10/£15 to upgrade.) But you cannot change owners online. My dog is still registered to my husband(he got killed). There is also a free phone app so that you can register your dog's details icluding chip number, so if your dog is lost, it notifies vets/kennels/rescue in your area within a certain radius.”

“I will ask the other dog walkers I know if it rings a bell. I would suggest contacting vets in town to see if it is registered with them.”
