She was drunk, unsteady on her feet and had glazed eyes and slurred speech.
She was warned about her antics but stumbled and fell in the road before shouting abuse.
She refused to get in a taxi, swore at police and pushed PC Caroline in the chest while trying to get back in the nightclub.
Snell refused to leave the area and was handcuffed but she kicked PC Caroline in the groin.
She was later violent in the police station custody area.
Rebecca Perrin, mitigating, said Snell was drunk and admitted behaving badly after matters escalated.
She was very ashamed. She had been trying to get back to her friends because she did not have enough money for a taxi home.
Unemployed Snell was given a one-year supervision order, including six months’ alcohol treatment, and was ordered to pay £50 compensation.
