Appeal for new venue for monthly disco after Cleethorpes nightclub Amishi goes up for sale
THE strobe lights are off for now as these disco dancers appeal for a new home to groove in.
Plusability Ltd – a non-profit organisation which provides services to vulnerable people – ran a monthly disco at the Cleethorpes nightclub Amishi.

As reported, the venue is up for sale for £400,000 and just last month Wetherspoon's bosses confirmed they are looking at the possibility of taking it over.
But this news does not comfort members of Plusability, who have not had a disco night since December.

For Thomas Wade, 20, of Grimsby, the event is one he feels safe to attend and he fears going into any other nightclub without the group.
He suffers with epilepsy and is scared to go out on his own in case he has a fit.
He said: "I know that when I attend a Plus Club disco, organisers there will be able to help me if I have a fit.
"If this happened in a general nightclub I think people would be scared of what to do and that frightens me.
"Attending something like this is great for meeting new people and it gives me some independence."
Since the disco nights stopped, Mike Carty, the director of Plusability Ltd, has been inundated with phone calls. "Our aim is to tackle social exclusion and the monthly disco was something many looked forward to," he said.
"The disco was originally set up in 2011 by request of service users, many who have learning disabilities or life-long health conditions."
Mike and other members of the organisation are now appealing for help from suitable venues to house a disco either on a Tuesday or Thursday night. Call 01472 317458.
