Archery: Kevin Hughes on target with sponsorship
CHAMPION Grimsby archer Kevin Hughes is being backed to hit the target by stationery firm Pukka Pads.
Hughes is a long-serving employee of Cardinal Brands, which is part of the Pukka Pads group of companies.

He enjoyed a run of 19 titles from 23 competitions, stretching back to February last year.
During that time, he retained the Lincolnshire Indoor Championships for the third successive year.

Hughes is to use Pukka's contribution to purchase a new set of carbon arrows.
He said: "Thanks to Pukka's sponsorship, I can now buy myself a new set of arrows.
"I feel I am shooting at a good enough standard to upgrade the arrows I have been using for the last five years!"
Hughes took up the sport when he joined Grimsby Archers in 2006.
A year later, he was achieving high enough scores to be selected to represent Lincolnshire as part of the County Archery Gents Recurve team. He has since been selected for the team every year.
Hughes added: "During the outdoor season, which is the beginning of April to the end of September, I normally train four times a week. For the indoor season I train twice a week."
His next competition is the Lincolnshire Outdoor Championships, on Sunday, June 10.
Hughes will be aiming to successfully defend the title he won in 2011.
