Arran's fine start
ARRAN Brindle and her England women's team-mates are in confident mood ahead of facing New Zealand after wins in three warm-up matches.
The Louth star is a key part of the female Lions' set-up as they bid for series wins in both forms of the one-day game.

In a 50-over game against a New Zealand emerging players side Charlotte Edwards' team secured a 181-run win.
Then in two Twenty20 games – against the same opposition – England claimed eight-wicket and 54-run victories.
Brindle has been in the wickets during the three games, but is yet to contribute with the bat.
The first One Day International is in Wellington tomorrow.
