Artist puts Christ on the crust in Great Limber - video
"GIVE us this day our daily bread" – so says the Lord's Prayer – but in Great Limber, it's toasted!
This stunning depiction of Christ's Crucifixion may look like it has been painted on tiles, but is in fact made up of 153 pieces of carefully charred toast.
This image of Jesus on the cross was created by scraping 153 slices of burned toast, created by artist Adam Sheldon.
Shy artist Adam Sheldon, 33, from Carlisle, has displayed his unusual work at the Anglican Church of St Peter, Great Limber, much to the delight of the Rev Felicity Couch.
