The bridge strike happened at around 8pm and the condition of the driver is not yet known.

“People are may be missing a point here. After using ASDA home shop all the time I know how the drivers are rushed off the feet. I think they are been over worked. They need more staff. Some weeks you can't even got a slot for a few days. They are starting to do even more. I was told the last few months was even busy then Christmas.
Also why don't the council close this bridge to traffic, A few months ago it was a council truck did the same.
The council could do more, Like put a bar near the bridge to stop things like this happening so vans can't get close to it.”
