Auction helps rescue Nine Lives Cat centre
NINE Lives Cat Rescue needs your support – by attending a charity auction or by making donations.
The rescue centre in North Killingholme has been active for about 10 years, and with ever-increasing bills they nearly had to close down.
But thanks to volunteer support, a charity auction has been keeping them alive. A variety of items are on sale every Monday at The Spiders Web pub at 7.30pm.
The rescue centre currently has about 20 cats and kittens which are all looking for loving homes. It costs about £250 per week to run the rescue centre.

Bonnie Taylor, from Nine Lives Cat Rescue, said: "Vets bills, electricity, food, cat litter, everything adds up to a big total.
"Any donations would be hugely grateful such as food, cat litter, blankets and money – and we will collect it if people can't travel.
"The charity auction every Monday run by Charlene and Jane has been a saviour and I would like to say a really big thank you to them.
"We hit a crisis point around a month ago where I thought we were going to close because we financially couldn't support ourselves.
"The kittens and cats would be on the streets if we weren't open."
To make a donation, call 01469 540266 or go to the auction on every Monday at The Spiders Web at 7.30pm.

“Cats may or may not have nine lives. Judging by the state of my vegetable plot, the ones round here definitely seem to have nine ********s.
