Grimsby Town came from behind to take all three points in this evening's televised encounter at fellow play-off hopefuls Southport.

Anthony Elding put the ball in his own net just before the half-hour mark but Ian Miller levelled things up again for the Mariners on the stroke of half-time.

Both sides had their chances after the break but it was the league's leading goalscorer Liam Hearn who found the back of the net a few minutes from time to seal victory for Town who, for the time being, sit outside the play-off places on goal difference alone.
