BMX bikers wait for green light to keep blazing a trail
BMX riders in Cleethorpes are gearing themselves up for a further ten years of daring stunts on the dirt tracks.
Bikers at the legendary Trails – famed amongst BMXers but little known to others – are seeking permission from North East Lincolnshire Council planning bosses to renew planning permission for the mud hill BMX tracks in Taylors Avenue.

Hidden away at the back of King Charles Playing Field, the Trails is a haven for young bikers looking for a place to "chill" and fine tune their BMXing talents.
The Trails, which cannot be seen from the road, often attract up to 70 riders a day – and if their application is approved, it is hoped this will continue to be the case until 2020.
Trails is run by action group, Giving Young People Opportunities (GYPO), which is currently putting together a plan to ensure the Trails are kept open for future generations of bikers.
