MIKE Newell is expecting to confirm the triple signings of Bradford striker Barry Conlon, Leeds midfielder Peter Sweeney and young goalkeeper Jonathan Lund today.

Dubliner Conlon (30) is set to arrive on loan after bagging 11 goals for the Bantams this season.

Town will be the 12th club of the Irishman's career.

Former Millwall and Stoke star Sweeney is likely to join Conlon in the ranks and the 24-year-old Scot will strengthen the midfield department.

Twenty year old stopper Lund, meanwhile, has finalised his move to Town,  joining until the end of the season. He has yet to play first-team football and is a free agent after being released by home-town club Leeds United last month.

All three players will go into the Mariners squad for tomorrow's League Two clash with Gillingham once they've rubber-stamped the moves.

See tomorrow's Telegraph for Mike Newell's reaction.
