PASSENGERS due to fly to Greece and Turkey from Humberside Airport with Goldtrail Travel Ltd have been urged to contact their travel agent as their tickets are no longer valid.

As reported, the firm ceased trading on Friday, forcing the Civil Aviation Authority to step in to protect any customers who have booked with Goldtrail – which is also known as Goldtrail Holidays, Goldtrail Travel and Sunmar.

Arrangements are being made by the CAA to ensure those already abroad are able to fly home.

The majority of flights from Turkey will go ahead as planned, while those in Greece have been asked to contact their local representative as some changes may have to be made.

For more details and advice, call the CAA on 0044 203 4410846.
