Two arrested in connection with Peterhouse Road car theft

TWO people have been arrested in connection with the theft of a car which left the mother of a nine-week-old baby terrified.

A 23-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man are in police custody after Humberside Police found the Vauxhall Astra on Durban Road in Grimsby at 6.15pm last night.

The car was stolen by thieves as mum, Kirsty Glasson, 26, fed her nine-month-old daughter, Olivia at 4.30am on Sunday at her Peterhouse Road home.

Thieves reportedly smashed the window, stole the front door keys and screeched off in the family car.

Fiance Chris Westerman, 37, was asleep upstairs at the time. 

Parts of Olivia's buggy was in the boot but they were missing when the car was recovered.
