Bank staff make deposit to help feed families in need
STAFF at a Cleethorpes bank cashed in some of their wages to help feed families in need.
The Natwest bank, in Seaview Street, is the latest firm to back the Grimsby Telegraph's Ten Tonnes Of Tins campaign.
As reported, we have teamed up with Christian Action And Resource Enterprise (Care) to collect hampers packed with essential foodstuffs for people in North East Lincolnshire who are living in poverty.
The generous staff at Natwest donated two food hampers, jam-packed with tinned food and treats to help towards the ten-tonne target.

Customer service adviser Pam Revill, of Cleethorpes, said staff decided to get involved after reading about the campaign in the Telegraph.
Pam, who has worked at Natwest for 17 years, said: "We always try to help people within the community.
"I think the campaign is absolutely fantastic and the best part is that it concentrates on helping local families. It's sad to think there are people who can't afford to buy essentials like food and if we can help them out then that can only be a good thing."
The eight employees at the bank clubbed together and hit the supermarket to fill their two hampers.
Christine Blyth, of Cleethorpes, who has worked for Natwest for more than 30 years, said: "I think the campaign is a really good idea to help local people and we were happy to help."
Kind-hearted staff at the branch have previously raised money for St Andrew's Hospice and taken part in the Sleep Easy in aid of young homelessness.
