Barbie girls give-away was a real blockbuster
BARBIE girls were queuing around the block to collect a new addition to their collection – on us.
As reported, the Grimsby Telegraph has teamed up with Ramsdens – the area's best independent toy store – to give readers the chance to claim their share of £27,000 worth of free toys.
On Saturday morning people queued outside the Cleethorpe Road store from 7am ready to bag one of 500 free Stacie and Skipper dolls when the store opened at 8.30am.
Barbie's younger sisters are each worth a whopping £9.99. The Stacie doll comes with her cute kitty and the Skipper doll comes with her precious pug.

Ian Cutfordth, and his daughter Rebecca, 11, of Healing, had an early start to the day and joined the queue at 8am to make sure they didn't miss out.
Ian said: "I think this offer is a great idea for the kids, and the vouchers are really easy to collect for the free toy.
"I can't wait for the next offer and get my hands on the Tech Decks, I think they suit me more!
"I will definitely be looking out for the next offer – it's a fantastic idea."
Rebecca said: "I have got some of the originals of Barbie's Sisters and I probably have more than 20 Barbies.
"I can't wait to see which sister I have got, because I really love accessorising them. I have loads of accessories."
It seems Barbie is still every girl's best friend, and she has been for more than 50 years.
Len Weatherall, and grandchildren Louisa and George, were among the first bargain hunters in the queue at 7.30am.
Len, of Clee Road, said: "The offers have been wonderful and we have been every week.
"We come early because we like to be one of the first ones to get the free toys."
Barbie fan, Louisa, 5, said: "I have lots of Barbie toys and I really enjoy dressing them up and brushing their hair.
"I really like my Barbie's Sister which has a blue stripe in her hair."
George, 5, said: "I got this Barbie for my cousin, Annabelle, because I wanted to give her a present.
"I liked the free Doctor Who action figure last week – that was my favourite offer so far."
More great give-aways:
Don't miss out on our next fantastic event on Saturday, when you can claim a free Tech Deck toy.
To take part, simply collect three of the five tokens printed in your Grimsby Telegraph from Monday to Friday and take them along to Ramsden's toy department on Saturday, where the first 500 to arrive will be able to exchange them for a free toy. Strictly one toy per person.
