Barnett solid but Notts strike back
GRIMSBY youngster Jordan Barnett put in assured performance in defence as Humberside Under-16s drew 1-1 at Nottinghamshire.
Barnett, along with Josh Sunter at centre-back, combined well to keep Nottinghamshire's forwards at bay in the Midland Counties League clash.
Humberside were without Grimsby's Lewis Collins, who missed out through illness.
After a goalless first half, Humberside took the lead through Lewis Bemrose's strike.

The young guns continued to press Nottinghamshire back and were well on top.
Midfielder Jack Harrison had a goal chalked off after a close offside call and Zak Shipman hit the woodwork with a header.
But missed chances came back to haunt Humberside as Nottinghamshire equalised from a long-range free-kick.
