'Beast from the East' brings icy wind and wintry showers to North East Lincolnshire
Biting gale-force winds from Russia are set to bring more cold weather to North East Lincolnshire over the next 24 hours.
Though temperatures will likely vary between -1C and 4C, the strong winds will make it feel substantially colder.
Further rain, sleet and snow showers will continue to affect the borough for the rest of today and overnight with the risk of icy conditions in places by tomorrow morning.
Drier and less windy conditions are expected to move in on Thursday though temperatures will stay low into the weekend.

“Since this is the middle of winter I would be more surprised if it were a heat wave. AS it is it should be cold.
Come on GT get a grip and find some news worth writing about. At least while you write this drivel there is nothing to worry about out there in the great big world.”
