We somehow managed to scrap it out and take all 3 points.The first half was dreadful and barely anybody in the team could complete a simple pass.The second half was much better but until cookies first goal it was frustration after frustration.The main thing is that we've come away with the points & can now move on to the next game still in good spirits.

If Cook hadn't took man of the match i'd have given it to Bradley Wood...he didn't put a foot wrong the whole game & also read the game well,great performance from him.Coulbeck was lively tonight aswell and his touch & movement seem to have improved.

Allthough there were positives i do have concerns about Brodies performance.He didn't put a foot right the whole 60 mins he played.He was out of position all the time,looked lethargic & could even be accused of pure laziness in my opinion.Im questioning if he even wants to be here to be honest.Personally i think the strikers allready within our ranks are better than him based on what ive seen so far.I don't like slating any player thats prepared to come here and pull on our shirt,but feel as though i have to get it off my chest because his performance tonight was shambolic to say the least.”

Surely Andy Cook should be playing all the time and with Brodie coming on if a change if needed. As Andy and Ross are both Grimsby's players surely it makes sense they play as much as possible together to build on their partnership.

“Freezing at BP tonight but Cookies goals made it all worth while,well done big man!!Hyde stopped us in our tracks all night,still don't care for this hoofing the ball lark.....we play far better football on the ground and we only had short spells of this all night.Glad we made a change of players,right decision S&H it payed off.We are top of the league NICE!!”
