Grimsby Town returned to winning ways in the Blue Square Bet Premier with a 3-1 victory over Ebbsfleet United.
The Mariners went ahead shortly after kick-off thanks to Marcus Marshall with Andy Cook doubling the advantage a few minutes before the interval.

Ebbsfleet's Liam Enver-Marum put the visitors back in the game around fifteen minutes before full-time but Craig Disley restored Town's two-goal cushion late on to secure the win.

“Well i was impressed with 1st half as usually we are slow out of the blocks Marshall and Niven all over the place winning most balls . The second half though was disappointing as we usually fire in the 2nd half. Clubs in the top half would have punished us and fleet in the second half played really well causing a few heart stopping moments. Disleys goal a dream though which sealed it. we have a few tough games now for a bit so we need to capitalise on them too , overall though a good 3 pts last night, up the mariners.”
