“This league is anybodies, current results by the fancied sides have not been very impressive and there are no obvious play off certainties Poor leagues are.characterised by indifferent sides who all beat each other Come xmas we should have a clearer idea of who are the genuine contenders for promotion No teams or their fans should start counting chickens at this stage as it will lead to disappointment for at leasr a dozen of them .”

“Another excellent result that should now install us as one of the front-runners in this league. Optimism now at a high and Pond sounds like a titan in both boxes. Much kudos to S&H for spotting such an available talent. Up the mariners and please don't switch off against a team bottom of the table next time around!”

“well done town.we was not troubled that much but could have lost if not for 3 great saves, pearson my man of the match he won every thing in the air again, along side pond they look a solid pairing.some nice passing and moves but lacking the killer touch up front.i like eldings workrate but his passing and touchs need working on.went home pleased overall though.”

“McKeown needs his own mention for two or three quality saves today, deserved mom in my opinion but that doesnt mean we didnt deserve the win. Hard fought and well won all over.”

“I was expecting Forest Green Rovers to come and play us off the pitch with all the jargon thats been said about them recently, nothing special about them really the best team won GRIMSBY TOWN .It wasn't the best game ever but the Nathan Pond goal knocked them off their pedestal and shut them up.Three more points for Grimsby Town and 7th in the league, well done lads once again.utmm.”
