Big field set for Cleethorpes 10k
ENTRIES are already flooding in for the Cleethorpes New Year's Day 10K road race.
The popular annual event, hosted by Cleethorpes AC, is one of the biggest on the local road racing calendar and another sizeable field is expected for the 2013 edition.
The race starts at 11.15am on January 1 from Daggett Road, Cleethorpes – just around the corner from the race headquarters at Cleethorpes Cricket Club, Chichester Road.
The finish is on the grassed area opposite the miniature railway station on Kings Road, around half-a-mile from the cricket club.

The latest date for postal entries to be returned will be December 17 – any entries received after this will need to be collected on race day.
All entries – including those made online – close on Monday, December 24.
There are strictly no entries taken on the day. As well as the usual age category awards, there will be cash prizes if the male or female course records are broken.
