Binbrook voters move to Louth constituency

​THE LOUTH and Horncastle Constituency is set to lose a possible 373 electors due to boundary changes.

They will come into effect on the dissolution of Parliament for the next General Election.

Louth and Horncastle MP Sir Peter Tapsell visited Binbrook to meet possible electors and introduce himself to them.

The constituency has lost 2,085 electors to the Boston and Skegness constituency and has gained 1,712 electors from the Gainsborough constituency from the political boundary changes.

The villages gained from the Gainsborough constituency are: Binbrook (761 electors), Burgh on Bain (91), Calcethorpe with Kelstern (53), Gautby (38), Hainton (93), Ludford (348), Minting (194) and South Willingham (134).

The villages lost to the Boston and Skegness constituency are: Bratoft (112 electors), Eastville (187), Firsby (222), Great Steeping (236), Irby in the Marsh (142), Little Steeping (164), Midville (92), New Leake (246), Stickford (420) and Thorpe St Peter (264).
