“No need to panic, the club (understandably) is trying to boost the Tamworth gate by dangling the threat of not being able to get a ticket for boxing day. There will be plenty of tickets available on general sale and the police won't risk having town fans in the lincoln end so if we need more, Lincoln will increase the allocation.”

“Lincoln City club is to blame for this, why issue a club like Grimsby with a fantastic fan base 1747 tickets...... last boxing day away at Lincoln we had about 2000 + Grimsby fans in that ground and not all of them was in the Co-op Community Stand like people seem to think,i was there that day and saw Grimsby fans in the stand behind one of the goals and the stand facing the Co-op Community Stand. I seem to think Grimsby Town fans still get labelled as trouble by football clubs because of the Burton game which is very unfair, the only trouble i saw at Lincoln that day was Lincoln fans getting escorted out the ground by stewards and police......maybe this is probably why we are only issued 1747 tickets,we have more season ticket holders than the issued amount and although some will not bother to go to the away game boxing day there will be many like myself who attend every year that will want to go and support our team......Sincil Bank has a 10,000 seating capacity so how come we get issued a miserly 1747 tickets....... maybe be their club are a little bit jealous of our fantastic support and can't stand the thought of being out numbered and out sung..... more bums on seats more revenue for their club i would have thought, not as skint as their making out then!!UTMM.”

Agree with you totally, I live near Barnsley and have also been to quite few games. I was hoping to get a ticket for Lincoln away match and home if possible, but looks like they will be gone if I don't get to the Tamworth match on Saturday, surely some of the tickets shoud be held back for general sale for those not able to make it at the week-end?”

“So let's get this straight, it's season ticket holders first, then tamworth holders, then back to season ticket holders... how about general sale? I live in Newcastle and have been to lots of home and away games this year.. but cannot make Tamworth. What a joke!”
