Boro derby delight
GRIMSBY Borough Reserves hope an impressive 6-2 demolition of derby rivals Louth United Reserves will kick-start their Lincolnshire League season.
The Wilderness Boys' second-string ended a run of five games without victory, which included a 10-2 thrashing at the hands of Skegness United.
John Waugh did the damage for Borough Reserves, netting a hat-trick that took his tally up to eight goals in seven games.
Ash Greenbeck and Jimmy Read impressed in the middle of the park, but ultimately the man-of-the-match award went to defender Tom Heaton on his Reserves season debut.

Luke Fanthorpe, who played on the left, chipped in with a good goal for Borough.
Right-winger Jack Stevens also scored for the Reserves, as did substitute James Stewart.
Borough Reserves host Horncastle Town at the Bradley Community Stadium on Saturday.
Borough began the season with a 4-2 victory against Lincoln Moorlands Railway Reserves before defeats against Skegness United, CGB Humbertherm and Boston United Reserves.
They have drawn once, 1-1 against Skegness Town.
