Boro to host Town
GRIMSBY Borough will take on a Grimsby Town XI in a pre-season friendly next month.
A Mariners squad, likely to be made up primarily of younger players, will visit the Bradley Community Stadium on July 11 (7.30pm).
Borough joint boss Nigel Fanthorpe, said: "We've been working on this match for a long time now so we are delighted to get it arranged. It is absolutely fantastic news.
"With it being early in their pre-season, Grimsby's team may have some new signings or trialists so there should be a lot of interest in the game.
