Bramhill strikes to bag win for Bowls
CLEE Bowls extended their lead at the top of the Grimsby & District Billiards League after a default handed them a 2-1 victory at Birds Eye B.
Simon Timpson (R95) bagged the opening frame for the hosts, 200-148 against Bob Camfield (R25).
But because Birds Eye were a player short and had to default a frame, Clee Bowls secured victory when Ivan Bramhill (Owe35) beat Jim Litchfield (R100) 200-164.
Blossom Way, Clee Bowls' nearest challengers, had a bye this week. They trail the leaders by two points.
