EAST RIDING: A Walkington resident will open her garden to the public on Saturday to raise money for the Love You 2 appeal.

Beverley Reader, of Molecroft Cottage in Northgate, will invite people to view her garden from 2pm to 5pm.

Joyce Clappison, of the Love You 2 events committee, said: "Beverley has been working very hard to get her garden ready for this event and we do hope people will come along and support her.

"It is a wonderful garden to walk through and to relax in, and I am sure people will find it most enjoyable."
