THE Old Library Residential Home, on Isaac's Hill, Cleethorpes, held its annual summer fayre and was a resounding success due to the kindness and generosity of local businesses.

I would like to thank the shops and restaurants in Cleethorpes who donated, without hesitation, very generous prizes to our raffle:

The Sugar Sugar Hotel, Deli-licious, John Turner's Butchers, The Notts Restaurant, The Ocean Bar, Ernie Beckitts, The Fiddler, House of McCue Jewellers, Jk's, Abode, Cote est, H Browns, Coccina, Pleasure Island, Parkway Cinema, Guru, Boots, Wilkinson's, Boyes, Me2Raj, Indian Kitchen, Eastern Delight, La Bella, Pebbles, Raffles, Itchy Feet, Essential Beauty and last, but not least, Choco-Latte.

Whoever says community spirit is dead, I am glad to say is very wrong. All money raised goes to our residents' comfort fund to enable us to provide entertainment, events and trips out for our residents whom the majority suffer with dementia.
