Bygones: Birds Eye bunch enjoyed fun times
THIS selection of photographs was shown to us by Frank and June Storr, of Wintringham Road, Grimsby.
They show employees of Smethursts, later Birds Eye, and were taken in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Frank told us: "The photographs were left to my wife, June, by her late mother, Mildred Emson, who worked for Smethursts and Birds Eye at that time.
"My wife believes that some of the photographs were taken at Skegness and others at the Winter Gardens, Cleethorpes, for some kind of presentation."
