GRIMSBY ladies hockey team captain Gaenor Thompson was happy with her side after they secured a win and a draw from two games in two days.
A 2-1 win away at Hull University 2nds was followed up 24 hours later with a 2-2 draw at home against Goole.
Thompson said: "A draw against a hard Goole side was a fair reflection.
"After the game the previous day, it was a tall order for everyone to come out again for a demanding fixture against old rivals Goole.

"All our previous encounters with them have been tough, but great games to play in – and this was no exception.
"Although tired from the previous day, everyone put as much in as they could for the draw."
Grimsby had to defend well against Goole and Vicky Taberner, Lucy Tomlinson and Kate Pearce were solid throughout
Playing with four midfielders, the Grimsby girls were able to attack in strength and support the forwards.
Lisa Foster scored from close range to give Grimsby the lead.
This advantage did not last long however, as Goole broke and, after a rare mix-up, scored to make it one apiece at the stroke of half-time.
The second half didn't go Grimsby's way at the start, with Goole finding the net early on giving them the lead.
However, the home side did not let their heads drop and they continued to battle with Eve Brown and Thompson combining well to earn a deserved short corner.
Foster tapped in to grab her second of the game and level the scores.

The previous day, Grimsby secured a 2-1 win at Hull University 2nds.
There were a large number of loud spectators supporting the University side.
With a player short, Grimsby altered their formation, which worked well.
Lucy Tomlinson headed up the Grimsby back-line with Katie Augusta and Kate Pearce, and they played outstanding hockey.
Meanwhile, Jude Livingston, in goal for Grimsby, produced a string of fine saves.
The visitors went ahead when Jo Turner scored her first goal of the season.
Ten minutes into the second half, Grimsby were awarded a short corner and Anne Lambert was on hand to strike it past the keeper.
'Gaenor's girls' continued to apply the pressure, but the University side intercepted the ball and managed to get themselves a short corner from which they scored, making it 2-1.
