“Please don't knock Freemo that much. I know it can be a bit freaky down there but if you know the shops, know what you want it's not that bad. It is walking distance for me and much more preferable than going to freshney place.”

“Why do you need a car boot to start at 6am, use common sense and start at 9am till 2pm, why get up early, you don't sell much till the doleies get out of bed anyway.”

“Most of the street sells tat that would not sell at a car boot sale.”

“it;s about all that Freeman street is good for now, the shops don't manage much but then if you have a council that lets the area look so deprived what chance does it have????”

“A bit of advice - hold it on a different day or move it to the afternoon. Once Oaklands car boot sale gets going, the turn-out will be very low. Whenever other locations in the same area of town have held car boot sales in the past they have always struggled to attract sellers once Oaklands has gotten underway.”

“Not a bad idea. Maybe the council could take a leaf here and put some of the unused carparks to use. Maybe not, that would require a certain amount of organisation. They don't score to highly in that department.”
