Carpets rob Cons of unbeaten run
CLEE Cons A's unbeaten run in the Grimsby Snooker Doubles League Premier Section has finally been halted – by Taylor Made Carpets.
The Cons went down 4-2 at home, and are now level on points at the top of the standings with their B team.
They never recovered from an opening 2-0 from Mark Stevens and Fred Parker.
Try as they might, Jimmy Yates, Paul Beasley, Craig Thomas and Damon Gresham could only share the remaining frames with visitors Keith Southwell, Peter Dyke-French, Craig Taylor and Keith Tomlinson.

Jase and Mathew Lawton won the next frame for the home team, but Ryan Johnstone and Dave Elshaw wrapped up a 5-1 win.
