Family pays tribute to 'perfect' teenager
"CHELSEA was the most special and perfect part of our family."
Those were the moving words of the parents of 17-year-old Chelsea Wheeler who died after a crash in Stallingborough.
-

Tributes have been paid to Chelsea Wheeler.
As reported, the accident happened on October 27, as Chelsea drove her beloved purple BMW Mini on the A1173.
She had been going to see her boyfriend Jamie Robinson, with her school friend Ashleigh Gregory (17), when the car left the road, colliding with a tree.
Tragically, she died in hospital two days later, with her family by her side.
Her devastated parents, Chris and Sue Wheeler, of Arnold Close, Laceby Park, Laceby, today paid tribute to their daughter, who 'brightened up everyone and everything she came into contact with'.
Chelsea Wheeler (17) who died in a car accident.
The Grimsby Institute psychology student had worked part-time at a Killingholme hairdresser's and had passed her driving test the previous month.
However, Sue said she had loved driving, and had done so since her 17th birthday in April.
She said: "She was always a happy, cheerful, smiling child and lately a young lady and she brightened up everyone and everything she came into contact with.
"She loved all her family and friends and they were the most important things in her life."
The former Laceby Stamford School and later Healing School pupil was also horse-mad, regularly attending Weelsby Park riding school.
To reflect this, on Tuesday she will be carried in a horse-drawn carriage to her funeral.
Dad Chris said: "She brought so much joy and happiness and our lives have been enhanced by her being with us.
"We have and continue to take joy from all the thoughts and kind words from all of her friends and these also make us feel so immensely proud of Chelsea and the way she has touched people in her life."
Sue added tributes left by friends on the Grimsby Telegraph website had provided comfort to all the family.

Ashleigh said: "Chelsea was like my big sister and people even thought we looked like sisters."
She added: "I will always miss Chelsea and our going out together. I will miss our chats, but will remember the advice she always gave me as well as the times she told me off."
Ashleigh is still recovering in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the crash.
Funeral details:
A celebration of Chelsea's Life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday at 2.20pm. All are welcome – but by request of her family, everyone must wear something pink. Floral tributes must be received by Sentiments Funeral Directors no later than 10am on the morning of the service.

“Chris and Sue,
You fell on my mind recently, I felt the need to find you after so many years. As parents of seven children and knowing loss ourselves, I know there are no words that help the pain, only time. Our hearts are with you. If you wish to contact us: castlemom@mactir.com
Love to you Both, Wendy”

“Such a sad loss. I worked with Sue and know how adored Chelsea was by her family. Sue & Chris, my thoughts are with you. You should be so proud of your beautiful daughter - she was obviously loved by everyone who's lives she touched. x”

“Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
Chris and Sue you are in my thoughts always. Take comfort in this poem it has helped me through dark times. Chelsea has left footprints on the hearts of many and for many life will never ever be the same again.
God bless you both.

“Such an amazing girl, her laugh was the best. she made everyone happy, if something was wrong with her friends she would help them before her self, she made the day go faster with her jokes and her huge smile..
Chelsea made everyone involved so no one felt left out.
the times she made me smile and the good times we had down in Laceby and through school.
i will always remember her and her beautiful smile
it seems like only yesterday I waved to her.
ill never forget our Chels.. i love you babes sleep tight chicken x
thinking of the family and friends x
Ashleigh

“I've known Chelsea from the day i was born, and words can't even begin to describe how much she will be missed. I'll never forget the times we spent together when we were younger. The times we slept over at eachothers houses, the times we spent at your nanas house after school, the times we spent as close friends. My only regret is that i let us drift apart these past few years. My deepest sympathy go out to Sue and Chris, her close circle of friends, and her boyfriend Jamie. If you made their lives even half as much brighter as you made mine, you will be sorely missed Chels.
Sweet dreams angel.

“My thoughts are with you both Sue and Chris, i was devastated to hear the news and was deeply upset. i cannot imagine what you and all of your family are going through. Chelsea was a very nice young lady and she didn't deserve her life to be taken away at such a young age. my thoughts are with you all, Jason.”
