Citroen stall the leaders' charge
CASTALINE are now four points clear at the top of the Faulkners Audio Visual & Domestic Appliances Louth Snooker League after being held to a 6-6 draw at home by the improving NT Shaw Citroen.
Gary Skipworth's break of 47 appeared set to give the visitors the win, but Stephen Kemplay levelled for the leaders and that's how it stayed.
Second-placed J Melton Painters were also involved in a 6-6 draw. They were held by Seymour & Castle. Martyn Taylor had the away side in front early on, but the points were shared when Steve Swallow took both his frames.
Former leaders Harness & Cooper Joiners' title hopes took a severe knock when they were hammered 11-1 by Don Noble Bookmaker. Bob Camfield, Dave Johnson, John Scottorn, John Bartup and Keith Lewington were victorious.

When Dales Poultry & Game played Kitchen Solutions, both teams needed a good result to bolster their title ambitions. And after a hard-fought battle, it was the reigning champions who clinched the spoils, 7-5, courtesy of wins from Russell Howard and Keith Aston.
Louth Building Supplies picked up a fine 8-4 win at Sibjon Builders. Sid Bett gave the hosts the lead, only for the visitors to hit back through Kyle Johnson, Tony Byrne and Rob Johnson to take the honours.
Bottom-placed GRS Elec trical Services put up a fight before going down 7-5 to Louth Travel Centre. Kev Fenwick had the hosts in front, but they let it slip as Brian Copeland and Mark Parrinder both replied for the mid-table away outfit.
In the Billiards League, leaders MA Stephenson Autos conquered title rivals Castaline, 2-1. Chris Dixon and Andre Fisher kept the Autos three points clear. It could have been more, if Richard Kissane had not taken the last frame for the visitors.
Naulls & Dales moved up to second. They had Mark Storey, Phil Marshall and Andy Dunn on song in their 3-0 win over Marris Carpets.
ABC Riding Wear beat Moran Travel 2-1. Sean Fieldsend and Mike Rice gave the hosts a much-needed victory this after Ray Charlton had put Moran into an early lead.
