Cleethorpes Town beat Grimsby Borough in Battle of Bradley Part II
ANDY Liddle's Cleethorpes Town netted a late winner to beat local rivals Grimsby Borough 3-2 in the Lincs Senior Cup last night.
The Owls raced into a two-goal lead at the Bradley Community Stadium – which the two teams share – thanks to strikes from Luke Mascall and Marc Cooper.

But Borough fought back, and goals from Andy Taylor and Luke Fanthorpe levelled things up in the second half.
But with just ten minutes left on the clock, Mascall popped up again to net the winner and send Clee into the next round.

Boro joint boss Nigel Fanthorpe felt his team deserved more from the clash.
He said: "We were in the ascendancy at 2-2 and should have won the game, but we let a sloppy goal in.
"It's a bit disappointing but a good effort all-round from the lads.
"We had the bull by the horns, but a lack of marking at the back on a free-kick cost us dearly."

“I agree twittowoo great advert for local football had everything passion the lot. Just seen the attendance no way was 219 people there not sure how that figure came about 150 at most. But for those that stayed away you missed a cracker.”

“A proper derby this one. Crunching tackles, off the ball incidents, a fight back and lots of gaols. Well done to both sides for a very entertaining game. If only the officials had performed as well as the teams. Some very strange decisions going against both teams which left a lot of people bemused.”
