Club's happy days down at the clinic
VAL Smith, of Westhill Road, Grimsby, sent us this photographs to share with you.
Val, who is secretary of the Cromwell Ladies' Group, asks: "Are you or your children on these photographs that were taken in the early 1960s at the Parents' Club at Watkin Street Clinic? When the clinic was demolished in 1972, the group moved to the welfare clinic in Cromwell Road and changed the name to the Cromwell Ladies' Group.

Members of the Parents’ Club at Watkin Street Clinic, pictured in 1962. If you can name anyone pictured, then please get in touch.
"We had many happy years there, until that, too, was demolished to make way for a new medical centre.
"We now meet at the community centre in Yarrow Road, behind Yarborough School, and from June 8 we will be holding our meetings monthly, on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm.
"Next year we will be celebrating our 60th anniversary and would like to welcome old and new members to our meetings.
"We have guest speakers, quizzes and coach outings."
Can you help?
