Clyburn top of the tree in her second pro showdown
A FIVE-star opening round saw Cleethorpes golfer Holly Clyburn storm to the top of the standings in the Banesto Tour Valencia.
The 21-year-old, in only her second competition as a professional, tees off as a leader today in the second round of the Ladies European Tour Access Series event in Spain.
She carded a round of five under par to claim out outright lead, one shot clear of Holland's Marjet Van der Graaff.
The Curtis Cup winner didn't look back after bogeying the 2nd – she sunk six birdies en-route to the clubhouse.

Clyburn tees off this morning looking to make the cut ahead of the final round tomorrow.
She said: "I'm very happy and excited for the next two rounds.
"My driving has been poor but very steady.
"My game is coming back. Another two steady days would be nice!"
