AFTER we published this photograph of a coach trip to North Somercotes, Jean Harrison-Vincent (nee Seddon) of South Ferriby, got in touch.

Jean told us: "I can help with a few names.

"At the back of the bus, near the number plate, are four females. Starting at the left, there's me, my two aunts Connie Ellis and Elsie Stanforth and my best friend, Anita Preston, who used to live at 40 Clarke Avenue.

"My brother, Geoffrey Seddon, is on the front row with his hands in his pockets. In front of him is my sister, Pam Seddon.

"Behind David Thompson (the boy on the right with the fishing rod) is my cousin, Judy Stanforth.

ALL ABOARD: Excited daytrippers in Clarke Avenue, Grimsby, ahead of an outing to North Somercotes in 1951.

"We lived in Cromwell Road. We lived at 247, auntie Elsie at 251 and auntie Connie at 257."
