Colour the key as David bags Camera Club prize
THIS month's Grimsby Telegraph Camera Club winner believes in having a "good eye" to capture the perfect picture.
Proud of his eye-catching ladybird, David Hollingsworth, 41, of Roberts Street, Grimsby, has received a beautiful canvas of his winning image, worth £69.99, courtesy of Comley Cameras.

WINNER: Grimsby amateur photographer David Hollingsworth is the winner of the August Camera Club competition, with the image he took of a ladybird in his back garden. He receives his canvas print prize from manager Paul Burgess, right, at Comley's in Cleethorpes. Picture: Abby Ruston
David took the image in his garden with the ladybird on a tulip, and he believes "strong colour" is key.
He said: "I have been taking photos for too many years and I always have my camera out with me because when you don't, you always see the best pictures. You don't need to own top equipment, you just need a good eye of what will make a good picture.

"I really enjoy taking images of Cleethorpes beach and nature shots.
"I always send pictures to the Grimsby Telegraph and I think Camera Club is a great idea. I regularly get picked for Picture Of The Day, which is great, but this is even better getting a canvas."
Paul Burgess, the manager of Comley Cameras, in St Peter's Avenue, Cleethorpes, judged the images.
He said: "There was a good selection of images and we always look out for unusual pictures which stand out.
"David's picture stood out for us with a fantastic composition and it looks great as a canvas.
"It is very sharp and different."
