Committee want to raise Immingham's profile with an In Bloom victory
LET'S make our town a place to be proud of.
That was the rallying cry from Immingham Bloom chairman Stewart Swinburn, as he urged residents to get behind the town's floral effort before the judges take to the streets on July 1.
-

The committee celebrate the launch of Immingham In Bloom at the Immingham Civic Centre.
Entries are being sought for the Immingham In Bloom local garden competition, and there are a range of categories to take part in.
Individuals, schools, and businesses are all being encouraged to do their bit to brighten up the appearance of their neighbourhood and bring back civic pride to the town.
Mr Swinburn said: "In Bloom is all about having community involvement. We have made a start by creating the raised beds near the Civic Centre.
"Now we would like the public to do their bit and together I'm sure we can make Immingham a much better place to be in."
To enter all you need to do is cut out the entry form below and return it completed to Immingham Town Council before June 25.
Judging will take place on July 1, and an awards ceremony will be held in the autumn.

“There are times when we can justify something this frivilous, but these are not those times. If they want to throw their money around, fine. But not mine, I had to work for my income.”
