Concerned residents assured Lindsey Lower School building is not on fire

REPORTS that Lindsey Lower School is on fire have proved to be mistaken.

The Grimsby Telegraph had received calls from worried residents who had spotted firefighters and five fire engines outside the iconic Cleethorpes building.

However, Humberside Fire and Rescue confirmed that it was simply part of a training exercise and the building was not on fire.
