Oliver! was the venue's first ever stage experience in 2002. Based on the Charles Dickens novel, the tale will engage and delight with its larger-than-life characters and outstanding musical numbers, such as Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, As Long As He Needs Me, Where is Love? and, of course, Consider Yourself.

Auditions take place this Sunday for lead roles, dancers, and chorus members – and it doesn't matter if you have experience or not.

The Stage Experience is supported by a team of industry professionals with a wide range of experience including direction, production, musical direction, choreography and technical expertise.

They are all passionate about the performing arts and ready for the challenging yet rewarding experience.

Grimsby Auditorium is welcoming back last year's creative team who led Bugsy – director Kei Bailey, choreographer Gillian Burns and musical director Barry Whitfield.

Auditions will be held at the venue between 10am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

Rehearsals start on Sunday, July 28, with four performances on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10.

The project fee is £140 per child (siblings £125), or there is an early bird option of £125 if paid in full by Friday, June 14.
