​GRIMSBY Town forward Michael Coulson has been named in the England C squad for the friendly against Wales on September 14.

Boss Paul Fairclough has tonight selected the 22-year-old Town star in his 16-man squad that travels to Newtown FC in just under two weeks.

Coulson is currently recovering from a bruised ankle, suffered against Hayes & Yeading United 11 days ago, but will be hopeful of earning his first international cap for the team made-up of players outside the Football League.

The young Yorkshireman is joined in the squad by former Town loan striker Ben Wright who recently joined Crawley Town from Hayes & Yeading.
